Our Fitment Guarantee

If a part we sold you does not fit the vehicle listed, we pay the return shipping and refund you in full. No argument, no restocking fee, no "some adjustment may be required."

That is the whole promise. Below is how we make sure it rarely has to be used.

Why this promise exists

Buying accessories online usually means gambling. A listing says "fits most SUVs," the part arrives, and it almost works. The mat curls at the pedals. The bracket sits 10 mm proud. The liner covers a panel you needed access to.

We decided not to run that kind of store. Every listing names one model, and behind that listing is a documented check rather than a guess.

How we verify a part before listing it

1. We start with the factory documentation. Dimensions, mounting points, load-area shapes and, on hybrids and EVs, the location of high-voltage components all come from official owner's manuals and manufacturer specifications, not from a supplier's marketing sheet.

2. We match part to variant, not just model. A Haval H6 is not an H6 GT. A Tank 500 HEV seats seven; the PHEV seats five. Where variants differ, the listing says which one it fits.

3. We check the market. GWM sells the same vehicle under different names and specifications in different countries. Cannon, Poer and P-Series are one ute with three names. We record which market a part suits.

4. We reject anything that fails. If a product needs drilling, trimming, cutting factory wiring, or "a bit of persuasion" to fit, it does not go in the range, however well it would sell.

What the guarantee covers

Situation What we do
Part does not fit the model in the listing Free return, full refund, and we correct the listing
Listing information was wrong or unclear Free return, full refund
We shipped the wrong part We send the right one and collect the wrong one, at our cost
Part is faulty or damaged Free replacement or full refund, your choice
You ordered the wrong model by mistake Return accepted within 30 days, you cover return postage

The first four are our errors, so we carry the cost. The last one is honest to state plainly: if you order a Tank 300 liner for a Tank 500, the part is fine and the return postage is yours. Ask us first and that never happens.

What it does not cover

We would rather be clear than sound generous:

  • Parts already fitted, drilled, cut, trimmed or wired in, since these cannot be resold
  • Modifications you or an installer made to force a fit
  • Fitment issues caused by other aftermarket parts already on the vehicle
  • Vehicles modified from factory specification in ways that change mounting points
  • Damage from installation not following the supplied instructions

Ask before you order, and we will check for free

This is the part most stores skip. Email info@gwmaccessories.store with:

  • Model (Tank 300, Haval H6, Cannon, Ora)
  • Variant (Lux, Ultra, HEV, PHEV)
  • Build year
  • Country you are in

We check it against the documentation and answer within one business day. If we do not have the right part for your vehicle, we say so rather than selling you the nearest thing.

That is not a sales technique. A refund costs us more than a lost sale, and a customer who received the wrong part never comes back.

Extra care on hybrids and electric models

GWM's owner's manuals are explicit: high-voltage components, orange cables and the traction battery are for authorised service centres only, and modifying a vehicle with non-authentic products can affect safety and fall outside warranty cover.

So for every hybrid and EV in the range, we go one step further:

  • We map where high-voltage components sit before approving a product
  • We range bolt-on, no-drill accessories only
  • Electrical accessories connect to the 12-volt system, never the high-voltage side
  • Boot products keep the battery safety switch panel accessible for servicing

If a product cannot meet those rules, we do not sell it for that vehicle.

How to make a claim

  1. Email info@gwmaccessories.store within 30 days of delivery, with your order number.
  2. Send photos of the part positioned on the vehicle, showing where it does not fit. This helps us fix the listing as well as your order.
  3. We reply within one business day with a return authorisation and a prepaid label where the error is ours.
  4. Refund within 10 business days of the return arriving, to your original payment method.

Full mechanics are in our Refund and Returns Policy.

When we get it wrong, the listing changes

Every fitment claim triggers a review of the product page. If the documentation was misread, the specification changed, or the wording was ambiguous, we correct it the same week.

We would rather find one problem through one customer than sell the same mistake fifty times.
